Power Electronics plans 20 GW inverter factory in U.S

The Spanish inverter manufacturer said in its 2024-27 strategic plan that it plans to invest 300 million euros ($328 million) to expand its inverter production capacity in Spain and the United States.

The new plant, covering 174,015 square meters, "will be designed using the latest manufacturing and assembly technologies to become the best center for the manufacture and distribution of its products throughout the country," the company said.

The plan also foresees a new plant in Lliria, Spain, for the electric vehicle division.
