Product FAQ
Key details from the published 40ft container ESS proposal.
The published configuration includes 960 PV modules, 150 battery modules, ten high-voltage controllers, combiner boxes, two PBD250 solar charge controllers, one PCS500, a 500kVA isolation transformer, Bypass500 and EnerLog. The IP54 container includes lighting, fire protection, battery racks and air conditioning.
The system configuration lists 2411.52kWh of rated energy and 1929.22kWh available at 80% depth of discharge. Delivered AC energy also depends on operating conditions and conversion losses.
The proposal lists 960 modules in 80 strings of 12, feeding two PBD250 solar charge controllers. Final module wattage and total PV array power should be confirmed in the project configuration.
The proposal supports both modes using PCS500 and Bypass500. The PCS specification states manual switching by default; automatic switching of ≤10ms is an option and must be confirmed for the project.
The proposal describes generator dry-contact control for off-grid operation. A project using both grid and generator requires an appropriately designed ATS arrangement. The generator and ATS are not listed in the standard configuration.
The outdoor container has an IP54 protection rating and includes air conditioning and a fire protection system. The internal PCS and solar charge controller are IP20 components housed within the container.
EnerLog collects equipment data and supports remote monitoring. The proposal shows communication through a router to the server and app; the site network connection must be configured.
