Germany: The installed capacity of photovoltaic power in September reached 919MW
Recently, according to the latest data from the Bundesnetzagentur, Germany installed 919MW of new photovoltaic capacity in September, compared to 1056 MW in August 2022 and 750 MW in September.

In the first nine months of this year, developers connected 10.72 gigawatts of solar energy to the grid, up from 5.6 gigawatts in the same period last year.

This means that the German government's goal of reaching a new installed capacity of 9 gigawatts before this year has been exceeded. In order to achieve the goal of cumulative installed capacity of 215 gigawatts by 2030, according to the Federal Network Agency, the monthly growth must be 1578 megawatts on a linear basis. So far this year, no month has reached this value.

As of the end of September, Germany's cumulative solar capacity exceeded 77.67 gigawatts.

In September, the total capacity of rooftop systems subsidized by feed-in tariffs or market premiums reached 666 megawatts, which is also the lowest since February and a significant decrease compared to previous months, when the market segment exceeded 800 megawatts and reached a maximum of nearly 937 megawatts in June.
