What is Micro-inverter?

A solar micro-inverter, converts direct current (DC) electricity from a single solar panel to alternating current (AC). The electric power from several micro-inverters is combined and fed into an existing electrical grid. Micro-inverters contrast with conventional string or central inverter devices, which are connected to multiple solar panels.

What is the temperature range does the micro-inverter can be used?

Temperature range is from -40°C to +65°C.

What thermal margin do you have on individual components at your maximum temperature rating?

A well-designed product should have at least a 25°C thermal margin on power semiconductor components at maximum operating temperature and load. At what temperature do you perform accelerated life testing and is the inverter powered under load and monitored real time? A properly accelerated test program should test to at least 20°C greater than maximum rated temperature and be able to support 100% load.

What is the advantage of Micro-inverter ?

More Energy Harvest: Distributed MPPT allows10~25% more energy harvest

Simple: Modularized, single ac cable to the house

Reliability: Longer life time and almost 100% operation hours

Security: No high Voltage, makes safter environments

Inteligent : Monitoring each module

Savings: No dc components and significantly save labor cost

How the Microinverter Works?

The Microinverter maximizes energy production from your photovoltaic (PV) array. Each Microinverter is individually connected to one PV module in your array. This unique configuration means that an individual Maximum Peak Power Point Tracker (MPPT) controls each PV module. This ensures that the maximum power available from each PV module is exported to the utility grid regardless of the performance of the other PV modules in the array. That is, although individual PV modules in the array may be affected by shading, soiling, orientation, or PV module mismatch, the Microinverter ensures top performance for its associated PV module. The result is maximum energy production from your PV system

How to install the micro-inverter BDM 250?

Step 1 ‐ Install the AC Branch Circuit Junction Box

Step 2 ‐ Attach the BDM‐250 to the Racking

Step 3 ‐ Connect the BDM‐250 Wiring Harnesses

Step 4 – Ground the System

Step 5 – Complete the connection map and connect the PV Modules
